The inspiration behind the Lighting Tunnel stemmed from the rhythmic beauty of urban architecture, the enchanting pathways of roads and tunnels, and the stark elegance of geometric shapes. Nargiza Usmanova skillfully integrated GVA Lighting's products into this vision, creating a mesmerizing spectrum of light that transformed the exhibition space into a captivating visual narrative.
What sets the Lighting Tunnel apart is its architectural framework, designed specifically to showcase GVA Lighting's innovative products. The zig-zag walls of the booth create a dynamic lighting tunnel, with fixtures strategically placed to highlight the design's angularity. A central greenery composition, bathed in flexible LED lighting, and slanted white walls illuminated by diverse lighting systems, set the booth apart, making it a standout at the exhibition.
The construction of the booth was a feat of engineering, utilizing a combination of wood and metal structures, MDF panels, and vinyl coverings. The space was brought to life with the company's lighting fixtures, rental furniture, and a reflective floor, creating an interactive environment that engaged visitors.
Spanning dimensions of 8500 mm x 3500 mm x 3000 mm, the Lighting Tunnel was more than just a display; it was an operational showcase of GVA Lighting's latest innovations. The Light22 exhibition became a hub for design aficionados, with the Lighting Tunnel contributing significantly to the event's dynamic atmosphere.
The project, which began in September 2022 in Torino and concluded in November 2022 in London, was a culmination of extensive research and strategic planning. The design team analyzed previous exhibitions to understand market trends and performance, with the goal of enhancing GVA Lighting's brand identity and industry standing through a compelling stand design.
One of the key challenges was selecting and harmonizing GVA Lighting's flagship products with the booth's design to create an integrated visual and functional experience. This synergy was crucial in delivering an immersive environment that not only showcased the products but also elevated the overall aesthetic.
The Lighting Tunnel's success was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award, a testament to its well-designed, practical, and innovative nature. It stands as a symbol of Nargiza Usmanova's dedication to creating spaces that not only display products but also tell a story, engage the senses, and leave a lasting impression on the design community.
